- Posted 25th January 2026: Chris has asked me to let you know that the Club toilet block is now open again. One of the causes of the problem was a plastic rip off, similar to that
on a milk bottle, had stuck in the mechanism causing it to malfunction. Please DO NOT put anything except toilet roll down either the toilet or elsan unit. Many thanks to Chris for his efforts in fixing the problem, in what can only be described as “a very unsavoury environment”. Best wishes : Ian Law.
- Posted 18th January 2026: Sent for and on behalf of Chris Taylor (Land & Buildings) Chris would like to thank all who turned out on Saturday to help with replacing the wood around the pontoons. Everyone was well fed and waterered and all the work was completed within the day. “Thank you to everyone”. Best wishes : Ian Law.

Officer of the Day duties are not someone else’s responsibility- they are everyone’s responsibility. Please help by doing your bit.
